Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The Organizing Committee warmly invites our distinguished delegates and guests to the 15th Baltic Conference on Food Science and Technology “Food R&D in the Baltics and Beyond” (FOODBALT2022) held during September 26-27, 2022 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The general aim of the Conference is to create an „open“ International forum for researchers and young scientists such as doctoral or MSc students to exchange ideas and the latest results in their field of the research.

Furthermore, it will also provide an opportunity to meet old friends and form new partnerships.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to join us for academic exchange and visit the city of Kaunas.

Registration fee.

Full registration fee includes attendance to all sessions, abstract e-book, coffee breaks and lunches as per scientific programme, certificate of attendance, access to posters area.
Accompanying person fee includes the conference dinner.

Cancellation Policy
Refund requests can be submitted to official e-mail and 50% refund can be granted if notification of cancellations has reached us before June 24, 2022. No refunds can be granted after this date.

  • Poster presentations: poster size 840  x 594 mm (portrait layout).
  • Abstracts must be prepared according to the template provided below. The abstract(s) should be saved as presentingauthornameandsurname.doc

Authors may consider preparing the full paper in the scientific journal APPLIED SCIENCES (an open access journal by MDPI) special issue “Biochemical Composition of Food“.

Transportation Vilnius airport to Kaunas

You can get train from Vilnius airport to Vilnius station www.vilnius-airport.lt/en/before-the-flight/transport).

The train station is near airport around 5 min walk https://www.vilnius-airport.lt/en/before-the-flight/transport/train.

From Vilnius Station You can get train to Kaunas (the trip time from Vilnius to Kaunas is around 1 hour 5 minutes). The train tickets you can buy on line (Vilnius airport-Vilnius Station and Vilnius Station – Kaunas https://www.traukiniobilietas.lt/portal/en.
